Bad Timing The Web Series - Boy Ignored By Girl, Zombie Apocalypse Happens, Boy STILL Ignored By Girl

Bad Timing is the sci-fi comedy web series from the warped minds of siblings Andy and Lauren Goldenberg.

It tells the story of dorky IT professional Andy (Andy Goldenberg) and the object of his unrequited love, Eve (Aqueela Zoll).

They are two survivors of the zombie apocalypse.

Before the end of the world, Eve didn't know Andy existed. Now that the apocalypse has come, Andy finally has his shot to win her affection - until her hunky boyfriend shows up.

Bad Timing is a funny send-up of the zombie sub-genre currently ubiquitous in pop culture.

I don't much care for zombies, so this project was definitely right up my alley. The Goldenbergs have written an amusing script that also takes aim at insipid romantic comedies.

Mr. Goldenberg is the personification of almost every nerd cliche as the painfully awkward Andy.  Aqueela Zoll gives a solid performance as the unattainable blond bombshell.

Fortunately, the two leads also have flashes of real chemistry together, which helps to give the absurd plot some much needed grounding.

The first season is comprised of 15 episodes, each averaging about three and a half minutes in length. The brevity of the episodes prevents the series from becoming overbearing in its zaniness.

I found Bad Timing an amusing diversion that is definitely worth a watch.
