Official poster for sci-fi short film, 'LAIKA'

Episode 229 of the EYE ON SCI-FI podcast introduces the indie sci-fi short film 'LAIKA.' The film is inspired by the historic 1957 Russian space mission that sent the first animal, Laika the dog, into orbit.

The short film portrays a Russian cosmonaut escaping a severely damaged International Space Station, and their encounter with an ancient, alien spacecraft.
